When a solar eclipse occurs, countries in the Moon's path sometimes commemorate the event by issuing one or more special postage stamps. The 1999 eclipse was an especially rich year for eclipse stamps. Below are a selection of stamps comemorating this event. If you have extra copies of any different eclipse stamps, I would certainly be interested in purchasing them from you. In return, I will add them to this page with a public acknowledgment of your generosity. Thanks!
