2017 Total Solar Eclipse Highlights Photo Gallery
I observed and photographed the total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017 from Casper College in Casper, WY. Please see 2017 Eclipse Report for complete details about my experiences.
On eclipse day, I arrived at Casper College at 3:30 am. Because it was still dark, I was able to polar align the two Losmandy equatorial telescope mounts using Polaris. I also had an assortment of 4 telescopes and 17 cameras (9 Nikon DSLRs, 2 Sony A6000s, 2 video cameras, 2 Go Pros, and 2 360 degree action cameras) that took me 5 hours to set up.
The Highlights gallery below contains a selection of my best images of this remarkable event. And you can also order Custom Prints in a variety of sizes. Enjoy!
