3 x 3 Eclipse Matrix 1 - 2017 Total Solar Eclipse
This image is a combination of images shot with two separate cameras. The first camera (Nikon D810 with a solar filter) shot the sequence of the partial eclipse phases. The second camera (Nikon D800 and no solar filter) shot a bracketed exposure sequence of the Sun's corona during totality (see: Visual Coronal 1). The images were then stacked and arranged to produce the final composition.
